Meet Our Pastor

Welcome to Ebenezer UM Church’s  online and in- person Ministries held at 2701 Old Wire Road West- Wallace, South Carolina.

I, Rev. Larry McCray, reside in Lynchburg, South Carolina. I am a South Carolina Annual Conference member, and I served in the Florence District. I am a Full -Time Pastor of a two- point charge which was created July 1, 2021. I was appointed as a full time Pastor of the Bennettsville Charge- Aaron Temple and Ebenezer UM Churches in the Marion District in June, 2023. I have been pastoring for 15 years. My greatest joy in ministry is preaching, and worshiping because during those times I really feel connected to God. 

I am a single parent, and the father of two adult daughters and one son. On July 1, 2021, I retired from 

South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs as the Chief Administrative Coordinator. 

    I am a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. I served in the United States Army for many years. I have held many positions for the F&A Masons. I am encouraged by the Scripture, “With God all things are possible!” Matthew 19:26.
